The Origin
uConvertDocument was not conceived as a startup. It originated as an internal toolset for a legal tech firm that was frustrated by the proprietary opacity of Adobe's layout engine and the constant formatting degradation when migrating contracts between Microsoft Office and LibreOffice.
The public web interface is a demonstration of our core mapping schemas. We believe that document translation should be a standard digital utility, not a walled garden gated by monthly subscriptions.
